This grant funded Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) materials to train 40-50 individuals in MHFA across 4-5 parishes. The grant enabled Catholic Charities of Ft. Wayne + South Bend to contract with Dr. Corona Espinosa to provide awareness and community education efforts to eliminate stigma related to mental health, reduce barriers to care, and improve crisis response within the community.
