This grant made the Director of Pastoral Counseling a full-time position to double the number of students seen for counseling services. The Director of Pastoral Counseling provides professional mental health support to students seeking services based in the Catholic-Christian view of the human person.
The grant also supported the training of mental health interns majoring in counseling as a practicum, and enabled greater accessibility to counseling services with the interns acting as additional mental health providers.
