School City of Mishawaka began in 1834, as a one-room school house. Over the past century, SCM has grown to include ten schools; seven elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and a virtual school. SCM/MHS offers four learning pathways: Business, Families & Consumer Science, Industrial Technology & Science. SCM enrollment is approx, 4900 students. Approximately 60% of the enrolled students are eligible for free/ reduced lunch.
