Dustin’s Place was founded to meet the unmet needs of grieving children and families in our community. What began as a small, volunteer-led effort has grown into a trusted nonprofit organization serving hundreds of families each year—always at no cost to participants. Dustin’s Place’s programs are grounded in the Dougy Center Model, an evidence-informed approach that emphasizes the healing power of peer support. At Dustin’s Place, children, teens, and families find a safe space filled with understanding, connection, and hope as they learn to navigate life after loss.
Dustin’s Place’s key programs include:
Weekly Family Grief Support Groups
School-Based Grief Support
Crisis & Postvention Response
